School ProgramsMany middle and high schools now have lacrosse teams. Contact the athletic director.
Club TeamsYouth club lacrosse runs year-round in many areas. Tryouts in fall, games in spring/summer.
Rec LeaguesCity recreation departments are adding lacrosse programs. Affordable starting point.
What to Look For

- Separate boys' and girls' programs — different rules and equipment
- Age-appropriate play — smaller fields and modified rules for younger kids
