Agility Test
This is a simple way to measure change of direction, short burst speed, and conditioning.
Setup
Mark four points: A (start), B (5 yards), C (7 yards), D (10 yards). All runs start and return to A.
The circuit
A→B→A→C→A→D→A. Time it. Rest 2-3 minutes. Run 2-3 attempts. Keep the best clean time.
What you are measuring
First-step burst, deceleration, change of direction, recovery under effort, and measurable improvement over training weeks.
Coaching notes
- Stay low when changing direction
- Plant and drive — don’t round the turn
- Clean movement first, then speed
Log results on the tracker page and measure improvement over weeks.
