10-Minute Shooting Basics
Goal: accurate, repeatable shots — placement beats power at every level.
1) Overhand shots (4 minutes)
- Step, rotate hips, snap wrists, follow through
- 10 shots each hand, aim for corners
2) Sidearm shots (3 minutes)
- Lower release, harder for goalies to read
- 8 shots each hand
3) On-the-run (3 minutes)
- Jog toward target, shoot without stopping
- 6 reps
Accuracy before power. A well-placed shot at 60% speed scores more than a wild rocket.
